Sugar cookies recipe

- 200 g cold butter
- 300 g flour
- 70 g powder sugar
- 8 g vanilla sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 200 g cold butter

instructions
1.Mix together the dry ingredients then mix in the egg yolk.
2. Cut the cold butter up to small chunks.
3. Add in the chunks of cold butter and mix it with your hand or with a food processor until it forms a smooth paste.
4. Chill the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes to 1 hour, or overnight.
5. Roll out the dough and cut out shapes using the cookie cutters.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 7-10 minutes.

use small amounts to roll, put the rest back to the fridge.

use a silicone rolling pin and a stretching surface, add a little flour so that it doesn't stick

dip the cutter into some flour

put the cut-out to the fridge before baking for 10-15 minutes
